The Upper Hall:The main Upper Hall is where the beauty of a beamed ceiling and natural oak floor welcomes you. This versatile space can seat up to 100 guests and is equipped with a small kitchen and servery. Dual access via internal and external staircases, along with a chairlift at the rear, ensures convenience for all guests. Ideal for wedding receptions, parties, celebrations of all ages, club and society lectures, and corporate events. The Upper Hall comes with tables, chairs, crockery, and cutlery. Enhance your event with the variable lighting system, PA System with Bluetooth compatibility, and WiFi availability.
Size:(Maximum) 27.3m Length 5.6m width including the kitchen which features a large L-shaped opening serving hatch. Equipment includes 100 padded seat and backrest chairs, 20 wood tables (1.8m x 0.75m), full meal crockery and cutlery for 100, small fridge (no freezer), and an electric stove with 4 solid plates and an oven.
The Lower Hall: Discover the Lower Hall with its historic beam – possibly one of the oldest in the country. This space, with a rich history serving as a lock-up, schoolroom, and more since the 16th century, offers versatility for children’s parties, dancing, cinema nights, or housing extra catering equipment.
Size: 15.16m Length x 5.6m Width. Tables and chairs for up to 40 people or upto 60 seated only. The kitchen is a simple refreshment kitchen, equipped with a microwave and hot water urn. The server hatch makes an excellent bar.
The Millennium Hall: A modern addition to the complex, the Millennium Hall boasts a fully fitted kitchen with a large 5-ring gas hob, double electric oven, under-counter fridge, catering dishwasher, and full meal crockery and cutlery for 50 people.
Size: The Millennium Hall measures 8 metres (excluding kitchen, lobby and toilets).
Courtyard: Completing the picture is the outside paved area – a courtyard with a backdrop of ancient stone walls and a planted area. This idyllic setting is perfect for wedding photographs, BBQs, hog roasts, champagne receptions, or summer parties.
